Nopef has already encountered significant interest from a number of companies since introducing three new focus areas in 2011. We have received a large number of applications, the majority of which have been approved for a conditional loan. Of the approved loans, 22 relate to Nordic innovation and businesses of the future, 18 to green growth, environmental technology and renewable energy and eight to health and welfare. While Brazil is currently leading the way with regard to the number of new projects, the highest number of projects in Nopef’s loan portfolio is still to be found in China and Russia.
