Start-up in China fuelling rapid growth

For Næsby Maskinfabrik A/S (NMF) from Odense in Denmark, establishing a base in China was imperative. The feasibility study provided an unequivocal answer to the company’sdeliberations regarding starting production in China – namely that major customers quite simply required them to do so. Having visited several premises, NMF decided to move into the Nordisk Industri Park in Ningbo, south of Shanghai. They made the move in April 2010 and the company is already manufacturing its components for wind farms on site and is already in profit.  In order to be able to manufacture and sell to the Chinese market and to export goods, NMF registered as both a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) and as a Foreign Invested Commercial Enterprise (FICE).
